Operating costs for business management

Acronym for "Power Purchase agreement". A contract between a user or corporate customer and an electricity producer for the sale of electricity at a pre-determined price and for a pre-determined period of time, generally between 10, 15 and up to 25 years. The contract provides for the commercial terms of the sale of electricity: duration of the contract, fixed or indexed price, delivery point, date and time of deliveries, volume, price and source of energy.
